The Life of a Disciple begins with a testimony of God’s work and God’s love growing within us.

The Lighthouse invites “you” in to encourage anyone who seeks to understand the Word of God given to them.  Fellowship with God will result in Fellowship 4Love:  Life on Life.

Step one:  believe God.

Step two:  believe the Word of God, the Bible.

Step three:  pray to know God and begin to learn and understand God’s promises.

Step four:  begin to learn how to Live by Faith in Jesus, the Son of God.

Results in:  Fellowship 4Love, a love for Jesus as your Lord, Savior, Redeemer and King.

Reminder:  the written Word of God will always lead you to the living “word” Jesus!

The Lighthouse begins the journey by seeking to understand 4 main things:

1.  Light

2.  Lord

3.  Life

4.  How to Live by Faith in Jesus:  Galatians 2:20

This must result in Fellowship 4Love in Jesus the Christ (Messiah) who came to be our Life.

You might ask:  How can we know the way?

Jesus says in John 14:6 says … I am the way, and the truth, and the life.

One of the great books of the Bible is the book of John.  Recommend and encourage all Disciples to start here reading the book of John.

The purpose of this website will be to encourage the Church, the body of Christ to be a Disciple who desires to make disciples as we Go!

In Christ collectively,

The Lighthouse

Expectations going forward from here.

Praying these ideas and thoughts encourage you, a Disciple, as you Go.

Praying all ideas become open for discussion in light of the Word of God being the main thing.  All ideas and thoughts being shared must be based on the truth in love as best we understand the Word of God at this point in time.  We always reserve the right for the Holy Spirit to change our thinking!

Praying that the love of God and God’s word always be the “main thing” in our thoughts, words and deeds.

Life begins with birth:  a physical birth and a spiritual birth when you become a Disciple.

Your spiritual birth will become your “testimony” how your story becomes God’s story.

What is life?  The Bible says … in the beginning, God created the heavens and earth (Genesis 1:1). God said: Let there be light, and there was light (Genesis 1:3).  The Bible tells us the beginning story about life.  God said:  Let us make man (mankind) in our image, after our likeness (Genesis 1:26).  God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth:  John 4:24).

The Bible / Word of God makes a significant claim in Romans 10:9-13 … if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved … for everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved.

Where does Life end or go from here?  The Bible says … The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his servants the things that must soon take place.  He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John, who bore witness to the Word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, even to all that he saw.  Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy and blessed are those who hear and who keep what is written in it, for the time is near (The Book of Revelation:  Chapter 1:1-3).

Wow:  from the beginning in the book of Genesis to the book of Revelation, we find an amazing Word of God the Bible that will help us begin to ask questions and help us to understand:

How to Live and Walk by Faith in Jesus:  Galatians 2:20.

As the Lord leads and builds His Church … we can share God’s story as we go.

What is our ministry as the Body of Christ, the Church?

Answer:  We are called to be Ambassadors for Christ.

2 Corinthians 5:17-21, 6:1, says …

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.  The old has passed away, behold, the new has come.  All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation.  Therefore we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us.  We employee you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.  For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.  6:1 … Working together with him, then, we appeal to you not to receive the grace of God in vain.

As we Go, the Lord continues to build His Church and we will expand this website …

Thank you Father God

Thank you Lord Jesus

Thank you Holy Spirit
