The<\/strong> <\/strong>King\u2019s<\/strong> <\/strong>Way<\/strong> <\/strong>includes sharing \u201clife on life\u201d together.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Life<\/strong> <\/strong>on<\/strong> <\/strong>Life<\/strong> <\/strong>(KingsWay)<\/strong> <\/strong>fellowship<\/strong> is missing in lives<\/strong>, marriages<\/strong> and churches<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Body<\/strong> <\/strong>of<\/strong> <\/strong>Christ<\/strong> should always have accountability<\/strong>, order<\/strong> and a<\/strong> <\/strong>voice<\/strong> in the Church<\/strong>:  the Bride<\/strong> <\/strong>of<\/strong> <\/strong>Christ<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Disciple<\/strong> <\/strong>of<\/strong> <\/strong>Christ<\/strong> <\/strong>needs<\/strong> <\/strong>a<\/strong> <\/strong>toolbox<\/strong> <\/strong>and<\/strong> <\/strong>a<\/strong> <\/strong>road<\/strong> <\/strong>map:<\/strong>  <\/strong>Leon Jones<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leon<\/strong> <\/strong>Jones<\/strong> <\/strong>who came alongside me <\/strong>for<\/strong> <\/strong>25<\/strong> <\/strong>years<\/strong> <\/strong>saw<\/strong> <\/strong>a<\/strong> <\/strong>need<\/strong> <\/strong>for a <\/strong>Discipleship<\/strong> <\/strong>Toolbox<\/strong>.  <\/strong>Leon<\/strong> <\/strong>built<\/strong> <\/strong>the<\/strong> <\/strong>first<\/strong> <\/strong>Army<\/strong> <\/strong>Logistics<\/strong> <\/strong>Toolbox<\/strong> <\/strong>in<\/strong> <\/strong>June<\/strong> <\/strong>of<\/strong> <\/strong>2000<\/strong> <\/strong>yet leadership had other plans.  <\/strong>I<\/strong> <\/strong>now<\/strong> <\/strong>have<\/strong> <\/strong>the<\/strong> <\/strong>opportunity<\/strong> of sharing Leon\u2019s<\/strong> <\/strong>testimony<\/strong> in person with others in my life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The<\/strong> <\/strong>Lord<\/strong> brought other<\/strong> <\/strong>brothers<\/strong> <\/strong>and<\/strong> <\/strong>sisters<\/strong> <\/strong>in<\/strong> <\/strong>Christ<\/strong> into my life as well at the appointed times and I<\/strong> <\/strong>get<\/strong> <\/strong>to<\/strong> <\/strong>share<\/strong> <\/strong>their<\/strong> <\/strong>story<\/strong> <\/strong>and<\/strong> <\/strong>testimony<\/strong> <\/strong>here<\/strong> <\/strong>as<\/strong> <\/strong>well<\/strong> using technology:  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

MakeDisciples<\/strong>.<\/strong>Faith<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prayer:<\/strong>  <\/strong>Lord<\/strong> <\/strong>lead<\/strong> <\/strong>us<\/strong> <\/strong>and<\/strong> <\/strong>guide<\/strong> <\/strong>us<\/strong> <\/strong>as you give us another day:<\/strong>  <\/strong>to<\/strong> <\/strong>Make<\/strong> <\/strong>Disciples<\/strong> <\/strong>as<\/strong> <\/strong>we<\/strong> <\/strong>go<\/strong>.  <\/strong>Lord<\/strong> <\/strong>prepare<\/strong> <\/strong>us<\/strong> <\/strong>to<\/strong> <\/strong>be<\/strong> <\/strong>\u201cready\u201d<\/strong> <\/strong>in our lives for<\/strong> <\/strong>when<\/strong> <\/strong>Trials<\/strong> <\/strong>and <\/strong>Tribulations<\/strong> <\/strong>come<\/strong>.  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Therefore,  we<\/strong> <\/strong>(<\/strong>the Saints)<\/strong> <\/strong>are<\/strong> <\/strong>ambassadors<\/strong> <\/strong>for<\/strong> <\/strong>Christ<\/strong>!  Jesus our Lord gave us, a Disciple<\/strong> <\/strong>of<\/strong> <\/strong>Christ<\/strong>, the ministry<\/strong> <\/strong>of<\/strong> <\/strong>reconciliation<\/strong>.  2 Corinthians 5:19-20.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The purpose<\/strong> <\/strong>of<\/strong> <\/strong>the<\/strong> <\/strong>Church<\/strong> \u2026 is to encourage<\/strong> <\/strong>a<\/strong> <\/strong>disciple<\/strong> <\/strong>of<\/strong> <\/strong>Christ<\/strong> <\/strong>who<\/strong> <\/strong>desires<\/strong> to Make<\/strong> <\/strong>Disciples:<\/strong>  <\/strong>The<\/strong> <\/strong>Great<\/strong> <\/strong>Commission<\/strong>.  <\/strong>Mathew 28:19-20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And the<\/strong> <\/strong>life<\/strong> I now live in the flesh I<\/strong> <\/strong>live<\/strong> <\/strong>by<\/strong> <\/strong>faith<\/strong> <\/strong>in<\/strong> <\/strong>the<\/strong> <\/strong>Son<\/strong> <\/strong>of<\/strong> <\/strong>God<\/strong>.  <\/strong>Galatians 2:20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bob\u2019s<\/strong> <\/strong>reasons<\/strong> <\/strong>for writing his book:  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.  God<\/strong> <\/strong>uses<\/strong> <\/strong>tribulation<\/strong> <\/strong>in<\/strong> <\/strong>our<\/strong> <\/strong>lives<\/strong> <\/strong>for<\/strong> <\/strong>his<\/strong> <\/strong>own<\/strong> <\/strong>purposes<\/strong> <\/strong>in<\/strong> <\/strong>getting<\/strong> <\/strong>us<\/strong> <\/strong>ready<\/strong>.  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.  Preaching<\/strong> <\/strong>the<\/strong> <\/strong>gospel<\/strong> <\/strong>to<\/strong> <\/strong>the<\/strong> <\/strong>whole<\/strong> <\/strong>of<\/strong> <\/strong>creation<\/strong> (Mark 16:15) and making<\/strong> <\/strong>disciples<\/strong> of those who believe<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(Matthew 28:19-20).  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.  I<\/strong> <\/strong>simply<\/strong> <\/strong>would<\/strong> <\/strong>like<\/strong> <\/strong>to<\/strong> <\/strong>see<\/strong> <\/strong>more<\/strong> <\/strong>churches<\/strong> <\/strong>with<\/strong> <\/strong>open<\/strong> <\/strong>Bibles<\/strong> <\/strong>and<\/strong> <\/strong>open<\/strong> <\/strong>minds<\/strong>. We<\/strong> <\/strong>need<\/strong> <\/strong>the<\/strong> <\/strong>Bible<\/strong> <\/strong>to<\/strong> <\/strong>be<\/strong> <\/strong>our<\/strong> <\/strong>authority<\/strong>, not our pastor, our denomination, or our creeds, and (God forbid) this book.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

4.  We<\/strong> <\/strong>are<\/strong> <\/strong>helping<\/strong> <\/strong>each<\/strong> <\/strong>other<\/strong> <\/strong>arrive<\/strong> <\/strong>to<\/strong> <\/strong>the<\/strong> <\/strong>unity<\/strong> <\/strong>of<\/strong> <\/strong>the<\/strong> <\/strong>faith<\/strong> <\/strong>(Ephesians 4:13).  There will never be grounds for a defensive posture based on pride.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

5.  The<\/strong> <\/strong>Holy<\/strong> <\/strong>Spirit<\/strong> <\/strong>must<\/strong> <\/strong>be<\/strong> <\/strong>allowed<\/strong> <\/strong>to<\/strong> <\/strong>speak<\/strong> <\/strong>in<\/strong> <\/strong>our<\/strong> <\/strong>churches<\/strong> <\/strong>through<\/strong> <\/strong>the<\/strong> <\/strong>Word<\/strong> <\/strong>of<\/strong> <\/strong>God<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The<\/strong> <\/strong>Lighthouse<\/strong> <\/strong>becomes<\/strong> <\/strong>a<\/strong> <\/strong>\u201cliving<\/strong> <\/strong>document\u201d<\/strong> <\/strong>and<\/strong> <\/strong>Discipleship<\/strong> <\/strong>Toolbox<\/strong> <\/strong>for a <\/strong>Disciple<\/strong> <\/strong>of<\/strong> <\/strong>Christ<\/strong> <\/strong>who <\/strong>desires<\/strong> <\/strong>to<\/strong> <\/strong>Make<\/strong> <\/strong>Disciples<\/strong> <\/strong>by <\/strong>Faith<\/strong>.  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sam<\/strong> <\/strong>Butcher<\/strong>, an artist inspired by his faith; Gene Freedman, a businessman working in the giftware industry who recognized the potential popularity of Sam\u2019s artwork; Yasuhei Fujioka, a Japanese sculptor who transformed Sam\u2019s wonderful drawings into magical, three-dimensional<\/strong> <\/strong>messengers<\/strong> <\/strong>of<\/strong> <\/strong>love<\/strong> <\/strong>and<\/strong> <\/strong>hope<\/strong>.  (Precious<\/strong> <\/strong>Moments<\/strong>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sam<\/strong> <\/strong>Butcher<\/strong> <\/strong>shared<\/strong> <\/strong>his<\/strong> <\/strong>Testimony<\/strong> <\/strong>through <\/strong>art<\/strong> <\/strong>and<\/strong> <\/strong>painting<\/strong> by creating<\/strong> figurines<\/strong> called Precious<\/strong> <\/strong>Moments<\/strong>.  Sam<\/strong> <\/strong>Butcher\u2019s<\/strong> <\/strong>final<\/strong> <\/strong>message<\/strong> before going \u201chome\u201d to be with the Lord in May 2024 was:  Turn<\/strong> <\/strong>Your<\/strong> <\/strong>Eyes<\/strong> <\/strong>Upon<\/strong> <\/strong>Jesus<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Precious<\/strong> <\/strong>Moments<\/strong> <\/strong>Chapel<\/strong> in Carthage<\/strong> <\/strong>Missouri<\/strong> tells a story<\/strong> <\/strong>of<\/strong> <\/strong>1<\/strong> <\/strong>man<\/strong> named<\/strong> <\/strong>Sam<\/strong> <\/strong>Butcher<\/strong> who clearly became a disciple<\/strong> <\/strong>of<\/strong> <\/strong>Christ,<\/strong> <\/strong>Jesus<\/strong> and responded to God with his \u201cspiritual<\/strong> <\/strong>gift<\/strong>\u201d given to him:  a gift<\/strong> <\/strong>of<\/strong> <\/strong>painting<\/strong> and creating<\/strong> <\/strong>figurines<\/strong> to represent<\/strong> <\/strong>\u201cPrecious<\/strong> <\/strong>Moments\u201d<\/strong> <\/strong>in<\/strong> <\/strong>time<\/strong> <\/strong>and<\/strong> <\/strong>history<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
